WOMEN’S RIGHTS: THE RIGHTS OF MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS, SISTERS, THE LADIES IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THE RIGHTS OF ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS
Article 1)
Women and men are equal.
Mothers and fathers are equal.
Girls and boys are equal.
Women, young women and girls are worthy of dignity and respect.
The rights of girls, young women and women are protected by law.
Those who discriminate against them are deterred.

Women have the right to vote in elections.
Women have the right to run and be elected in elections.
Women have the right to become deputies, mayors and village heads.
Women can run in elections to protect children.
They can run in elections to improve education and health services.
They can run in elections to make the country richer.
Women cannot be barred from taking part in the government of
countries, municipalities and neighborhoods.
Article 8)
Women have the right to work for a better world.
Women have the right to work for all human beings in the world.
Women can join initiatives for wealth, peace and equality in the
name of their countries.
All human beings living in the world are called “the big family of humanity”.
Women have the right to work so that the big family of humanity
lives in peace.
Women can work to protect the nature and children’s health.
They can work for freedom and equality.
Women are encouraged to work to bring an end to hunger and poverty
in the world.
Women cannot be barred from taking part in these activities.
Article 9)
Women’s rights to citizenship are protected.
Women’s rights to citizenship do not depend on their husbands.
Article 10)
Every effort is made for girls to get education.
Women’s education is paid particular attention at all ages.
Girls and boys benefit equally from education.
Girls and boys go to the same schools and get educated together.
They go to the same schools and get education together so that they
understand and respect each other.
Opportunities are created so that girls can attend sports activities.
The number of nurseries and kindergartens are opened.

Women are provided adequate pay for their work.
Women have the right to get equal pay as men when they do equal work.
This is called “equal pay for equal work”.
When women are away from work for maternity reasons, they have the
right to be protected from unemployment.
They cannot be fired because they expect or give birth to babies.
The mother or the father is given a “parental leave” to take good
care of the baby when a baby is born.
Nurseries and kindergartens are set up at workplaces so that mothers
can peacefully work.
Expectant mothers cannot be put to work in dangerous professions.
Article 12)
Women and men benefit equally from health services.
Expectant mothers have the right to access health services free of charge.
New mothers have the right to access health services free of charge.

Support is provided for the nutrition of the mother and the baby.
Article 13)
Mothers and fathers get a “child raise” to their wages so that they
can take good care of their children.
Women can get loans to start their own work places.
Women have the right to read, go to the museum and travel.
They have the right to go to the movies, the opera, the ballet and
the theatre.
They have the right to engage in sports, music, art and writing.
Women are encouraged to get together with their friends.
Every effort is made to make sure they can take part in fun
activities like weddings and festivals.
Article 14)
Women living in rural regions are paid special attention.
Women living in rural regions know the nature very well.
They grow grains, fruits and vegetables.
They raise sheep, goats, cows, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats and ducks.
They understand the language of water, land and air.
They weave carpets, rugs and fabric.
They make lacework and embroidery.
They make preserves and conserves.
These activities by rural women contribute to the wealth of their
families and regions.
Extra initiatives are taken to improve rural areas.
Women in these regions have the right to take part all of these initiatives.
Women living in rural regions have the right to housing, water,
health, education and transportation.
It is made sure that women living in rural regions get these services.
Initiatives are taken to increase the literacy (the ability to read
and write) of women living in rural regions.
Women living in rural regions have the right to get loans so that
they can develop the crop that they grow.
They are supported so that they can bring their products to the market.
They have the right to make a living out of their labor.
For this, they are encouraged to set up cooperatives and organizations.
A woman living in rural regions has the right to have an income when
she is old or sick.
She has the right to healthcare when she is old or she cannot work
because sick.
For this, it is made sure that she benefits from social security.
Community clinics are set up for mother and children’s health in
rural regions.
Sports centers and libraries open also to women’s use are established.
Cinema, theatre and exhibition centers are established.
They are encouraged to join weddings and other festivities organized
in their village or neighborhood.
Article 15)
Women and men are equal in laws.
Women sign business contracts themselves.
They manage their property themselves.
Women make independent decisions when they choose and start their profession.
They are free when they buy and sell a property.
They have equal rights with men.
Courts treat women and men as equals.
Women have equal rights with men when they choose their homes.
Article 16)
Women and men are equal in marriage.
Women have the right to choose their spouse and marry the person
that they want.
Women and men are equal throughout the marriage.
If the marriage ends, women and men are equals in this ending.
Spouses have equal rights to the property acquired during their marriage.
The mother and the father have equal rights on issues related to
their children.
Girls and boys cannot get married until they are 18 years old.
